What a way to start the Memorial Day holiday, joining with good people this morning to help Jim & Joan Ellis put out the flags in front of the Barnstable County Superior Court. Thank you to my friends State Representative Steve Xiarhos, State Representative Kip Diggs, Barnstable Town Council President Matt Levesque, Jim Plath for Dennis Select Board, and many other friends who joined us to make sure this patriotic display got put up for everyone to enjoy. Remember our fallen heroes. God bless America. See MoreSee Less

Yesterday I joined with some of Cape Cod’s finest law enforcement officials, prosecutors from DA Mike O’Keefe’s office, and State Representative Steve Xiarhos to be a part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit the Massachusetts Special Olympics. We met in Barnstable Village and ran west toward Route 132, with ADA Dan Higgins carrying the torch the entire route- we were there for support. What a great experience for a fantastic organization. Law Enforcement officials carry this torch every year from Provincetown to the Canal, running in segments and as teams. I’m already looking forward to next year. I hope you enjoy the photos.
