About Me

My background

First and most importantly, I am a proud husband of 27 years to Lisa and a blessed Dad to our 2 adult daughters, Maggie and Katie.  I am an honorably discharged US Marine and retired from a 26 year career in law enforcement, most recently as a Massachusetts State Police Sergeant.  I still work as a safety and compliance consultant in the transportation industry, taking my many years of training in Federal Motor Carrier and Hazardous Materials training to help insure safer roads for all.

My top issues

Cape Cod has been crippled by the addiction crisis which has affected so many across our state and nation.  I have been a leader in the fight against opioid use, particularly Fentanyl and Carfentanil.  Working acrosss the aisle with other members of the Cape & Islands delegation, I will continue to advocate for better state resources, an improved transportation infrastructure, equitable funding for our public schools, and the housing and economic development we need to make our Cape Cod thrive.

My involvement

While working closely with our municipal partners in government, and our local schools administration, my office and I are proud of the relationships we have forged with so many community service agencies in our district.  I am also a proud member of several local organizations including Cape Cod Veterans, Inc., Marine Corps League Detachment 125, AMVETS Post 333, the Sons of Erin, and the Former Mass. State Troopers Association.
